Sacrament Program 2026-05-10
The Bolivar Beach Quay branch in Southern Texas is piloting a new method of filling the baptismal font. For a few weeks before, they have Sacrament Meeting speakers with very sad life stories. The entire congregation uses their Sacrament Programs to wipe their tears away. After church, they collect the sodden Sacrament Programs and store them in a dark, climate controlled room until needed. Then, a few hours before the baptism, the young men come and wring out the waterlogged Sacrament Programs into the font. The slight saltiness of the tears and subtle pine scent of the Sacrament Programs leads to a very pleasant experience for those being baptized. And the salt makes the new member more buoyant so they veritably fly out of the water. One young girl is reported to have executed a flip like a dolphin, though this has not yet been confirmed by headquarters.
This public service announcement was paid for by Saints for Sacrament Tears.
